Happy 7th Birthday Mags!

See pic below of her new doll "Kit"

It's crazy to think that my baby is 7! Where has the time gone? Maggie has been talking about her birthday since the day after her 6th birthday. Since it is our last year on the east coast, we thought we'd take full advantage of it and go to our favorite place--NYC! We love being so close to the Big Apple! The day before her birthday was the big day, and it POURED rain! Do you realize that it has rained every time I've been to NYC? ANd I've been there over a dozen times. We left late afternoon, and by the time we got there, it had stopped. Whew! Maggie's b-day present was her first American Girl Doll. She has been eyeing "Kit" in the catalog for weeks. Kit resembles Maggie to a t.-(see pic below) It was so fun to see all the little girls picking out their American Girl gear. We had a nice time. I think we may be back in 3 months for Audrey's b-day.
Afterwards, we went to Mars 2112 restuarant. We were seated at our table after a short spaceship ride to mars. They informed me that I would NOT get motion sickness, but hey, I'm soooo sensitive to movement, I had a nice headache afterwards--but Maggie enjoyed it. As we ate, we were greeted by aliens, and they sang "Happy Birthday dear earthling" We had a nice time.
I love my little Mags! Happy Birthday!

Maggie is so darling... so grown up. She looks so much like you! I am anxious for the day when Kate gets into American Doll probably because I think they are so sweet. Happy Birthday Maggie.

BTW, any word on where you are headed?

I don't even know what American Doll is. What is it? And Maggie was such a mix of liking boy things and liking girl things. She never was bored when she was at our house, she played with Hunter's dino's with as much interest as she had with her princess dresses. She's growing up so fast!

Melinda--YOu need to have a girl! And Maggie still plays with the dinos--best investment!

What a fun birthday celebration!!! For the first 6 years that I've lived on the East Coast and visited NYC, EVERYTIME it rained. It's only been recently when I've hit good weather in Manhattan.

Happy Birthday Maggie!!! We miss you tons. What a fun birthday trip. I want to know more about the restraunt. I love NYC but I am always looking for things that my kids will like to do there so that I don't feel like I am just dragging them around with me.

Happy Birthday Maggie!! Love the pics of her growing up. Sounds like you guys had a great day. You have to take advantage of NYC as much as possible, huh.
I remember a rainy trip to NYC with you...good times!

Maggie is so grown up! I loved all the pics of her, so cute! I enjoyed all your recent posts, I've been out of the blogging world for a while and had quite a bit to catch up on. That pic of the kids in the laundry room with Owen is hilarious! Whenever I go somewhere and Mark is with the kids, I come home to a house that looks like it was hit with a tornado!

BTW...got your gift card! Thanks so much, I've been craving OG salad and breadsticks! Can't wait to hear where you guys are going.

What an AWESOME birthday! It is crazy that Maggie is seven! Wow! I am VERY excited that you will be cruising with us next time! I know you are a party girl so we will have lots of fun! (None of the people we went with were dentists -they were Keith's sisters' friends)
