Saw this on a friends blog. When she went to China, all the little toddlers looked like this. Yes, that's a poop hole. Getting ready to potty train Drew, and I'm not quite sure that is the way to go, but hey, for some people it works!
Wow... I don't even know where to begin. Won't they be cold? Do you really want your child's bottom in contact with all the different surfaces they sit on? Isn't this even MESSIER - because the poop just comes out everywhere instead of staying contained in a diaper? Plus it just looks super crazy? I don't get it!
My brother bought the boys some pants like this when he was in China (they do the same thing in some areas of Japan). I didn't use them to potty train BUT if we ever live in Asia while I am potty training I would definitely go for it!
Eric (who served in China) said seeing the kids like this is pretty common. He thinks, after doing the American style of potty training, that he'd prefer the Chinese :0
