Hanging out in the LBC

A traditional breakfast at the Sanders home--a dutch treat--biscout--a bisquit with butter and sugar sprinkles --my kids LOVE these for breakfast!

Everyone here loves sushi except me. Even Drew and Audrey did pretty good with the chopsticks!

What an adventure you have had... looks like fun. I'm so excited for you guys and all that you have ahead. I think you will enjoy being back in the west. I love the Cafe Rio picture - made me jealous... and how great to see the Bruderers. Dental School friends are like no other. I hope you get a little retreat before heading off to Vegas... I can only imagine that you are tired - I felt tired after reading all that you have done. You're kids are so cute and you all look great.

Just thinking about that drive makes me carsick - you are one brave woman! I'm glad the kids did so well and that you arrived safely. Good luck with everything!!

I love all the new posts. Except that it makes me remember exactly how long that drive is...you are lucky to be done with that part of your summer. I hope our drive ends up being as much fun as yours. Also, you've got to let me know if I'm supposed to be doing anything besides giving these plants water. Some aren't looking so good, but I really am doing the best I know how!! I think they miss Owen's green thumb! :)

Love all the new pics! Looks like you made the long journey okay! It's nice that you broke it up a little w/ site seeing on the way. Are you having fun in Long Beach?

Love the Cafe Rio pic! We just went there last week when we drove into Utah. It's always our first stop since we roll in around lunch time. We have Costa Vida here, but it's just not the same. I know Vegas has Rio. I saw one there last time I was there.

Well, good luck w/ the whole license thing. It's always nice to be settled in your own place. Staying w/ people, even family you like, gets old fast. Give me a call when you're a little less busy!
