No...I didn't venture out with the millions of teens this morning at 12:00 a.m., but I did catch the 10:45 show this morning--I don't think I've ever been to a movie that early before. We could have gone even earlier, but that show was sold out!!! So, myself, Amberlee and Carlin had a great time! (Thanks Amberlee for standing in line at 8:30 this morning--are we nuts or what???
I give it a thumbs up, but I must say that ....the book is better! They covered most of the major events, but man there were so many juicy details that just didn't make the cut--too bad! And Edward...well I prefer my vision of him in my head--he was supposed to have really dark hair. After the movie was over, I was already to start New Moon--too bad they haven't even started filming yet.

It is rather and epidemic, isn't it? Joe took our two oldest to it last night- they both liked the book better too. I read the first book, but I don't know that I will be having the kids read the others-any opinions?
I think I could be one of the bigger social losers in the country today... I have yet to read Twilight and I am one of the few who hasn't gone to the movie. I just can't seem to catch the wave! I've heard from Annie and a few other friends who went to the midnight showing that the book was way better, but they had fun staying out late (or going early in your case) to view the phenomenon (SP?)!!!

I'm glad you liked it! I still haven't seen it and haven't heard very good things about it here, but you liked it and my mom liked it so that is good enough more me now. I'm gonna have to see it soon!
I agree...the books are always better...I liked the movie, but there needed to be more kissing...
