Today we woke up to this
Yes, snow.....again. I'm really ok with it, but man, it has been a really snowey winter this season! When I lived in Philly, we mostly had really cold days, with freezing ice rain and an occasional snow storm,(ok, we did have a few big ones that canceled church a few times, but overall, nothing like it is here.) It really is beautiful though, and I guess I can tolerate it for another month --but no longer than that!
Pregnancy update--23 weeks and counting. I have decided that I really do enjoy being pregnant. That first trimester is so exciting, even though I felt like crap. The second trimester is so nice. I really am proud of my bump and have no shame in showing everyone that I'm pregnant. I even have a shirt that says "baby makes the belly go round" Maybe I like it, because it's a good excuse to have a big belly. Lately I've even had thoughts that i could do this one more time---ask me in 10 weeks when I'm miserable and complaining about how I can't go another day. And then at 40 weeks, you swear that this is it and you'll never do this again! Right??? I am just so excited to hold my babe--girl or boy which ever it may be.--It really is such an incredible feeling to hold your babe for the first time.--man, I think these hormones are getting to me! The great thing is that when the baby is born, we will be moving to Vegas right after that. I'm due June 10th, and Owen will start his pedo residency on July 1--so we're really excited to be reunited together as a family for good this time. So, I think the next 17 weeks are going to be hectic with everything that comes with moving and finding a place to live, and trying to get things squared away with UNLV, and the new baby. Talk to me then, and I'll let you know if I'm still sane.

So excited for you guys to all be back together in a few months. It will be worth the wait when you have a new baby here and your husband too. Glad you are feeling well. I am starting to get impatient with 2 weeks and 2 days left. Hurry along little baby, any day now! I wish!
I'm so ready for the snow to be over as well. And if I ever get pregnant again, I'll have to find me one of those shirts. Hilarious.
I also love to be pregnant. Even with the twins. It is truly an amazing thing that God has blessed women with, I think. You have such a great attitude and only you could survive being pregnant and only seeing your husband a few times a month, and still be married. Good for you guys! I am like a proud mother!!
You will have an exciting finish to your pregnancy, and two rewards - the baby and the move! I'm excited to read about your coming moving decisions on your blog...I think you are going to love all the beautiful sunshine in Vegas. Anyway, I'm glad you are a happy pregnant lady and I wish you many more happy days!
The second trimester is nice. The third sucks and the last month is pure hell.
And then there's the newborn sleepless night stage, which is the real reason while I'll never have another. Well, that and labor. YOWCH.
I'm so glad you are enjoying being pregnant! It's a miracle--I'm excited for you guys. I like it too--except for the very end part when it's hard to breathe. I can't imagine how that would be if you have asthma on top of that. I'm really glad to hear you are doing so well!
Yes, I go through spurts of euphoria while pregnant and then I go through days when I feel like I am so tired and I how will I manage another! I like being pregnant, but not in the beginning...it is not fun when you feel lousy all day. The moving around and hearing the heartbeat NEVER gets old. Good luck with your move and new baby we want to hear all about it.
I'm so excited for you to have another baby. I am really glad that you feel good too. Hang in there - the snow will melt - I keep telling myself that too! :)
Wow, sounds like you're destined to have another one!! I'm glad you're feeling better. Your kids grow like weeds! Every time I look at your blog they always look so much older, especially Maggie! Keep us posted on when/if you're still coming to CO for a trip.
