Today I did this
Ka-Ka! Personally, I would have rather had the orange flavored one--this one was sooooo sweet and sooooo nasty--i really felt ill after drinking it. The sad part is that with Audrey and Drew, I failed the first one and had to do the 3 hour test. I've never had gestational diabetes though which is good--so far that is. So, I may be doing this again next week! Blah!

It's Great to be 8!
Yes, My babe is 8! Where has the time gone??? We actually just had a 3 day festival in honor of Maggie's 8th birthday on the 9th. Why 3 days? Well, Owen and his mom came this weekend and since they were flying out on Monday back to L.A., we kind of had to do a lot of the celebrating before her birthday. Saturday was the friend birthday party where we took 5 friends minature golfing--much less stressful for me--I don't really like to entertain a bunch of kids at my house, so this was a great alternative. That night, we celebrated with dinner at Red Lobster--Maggie loves seafood. On Sunday, we had the birthday dinner at home with another cake, and presents from grandparents.. And on Monday which was her actual birthday, she had treats at school, more presents at home and dinner at Fuddruckers. Man, am I wiped out and broke! Maggie has been talking about her 8th birthday since March 10th of last year, so far so good, we haven't heard of birthday #9 yet. We will have another celebration on the 28th of this month when she is Baptized! We love our little Mags!

Kids do say the darndest things
so Random---Driving in the car, everyone is quiet, and Drew says, "I want to eat all my food so I can grow hair on my arms like Daddy." This was a couple of months ago, and he's still talking about it. The other day he said he wanted white hair like Daddy--uh, oh, it's time to get the dye out. I've been wanting Owen to color his hair for years, and he says he looks distinguished. I told him he would look distinguished if he was maybe 40, but 30??? c'mon!
Tonight after watching American Idol, After watching the Allison girl --the 16 year old rocker chick, Audrey says "I don't like her red hair--how does she get it that color?" Me: "She colors it" Audrey "with a crayon?" --yes, she was totally serious--Maggie and I had a good chuckle.
