4 weeks to go--maybe 3!

I went to see my Dr. today hoping to schedule an elective induction mainly because I really fear that Owen won't be here when I deliver. Now in the past, I am always thick and closed and not contracting and always induced. Maggie was 42 weeks! But, I have been contracting with this pregnancy and today I was a 2 and 50% effaced! I have NEVER done that. Now it does make me a little nervous knowing that I could pretty much go anytime, and heaven for bid that i am alone when this babe comes. My Dr. that I always see was out unexpected today, and today was D Day discussion. I know that he will induce me a week early because of my circumstances, and plus I know him well from when I used to do deliveries with him when I worked L & D, and he delivered Audrey and Maggie. So, today we didn't get to schedule anything. Sniff sniff. But, I really think I will be induced a week early around the 3rd of June. Cross your fingers!

I have about eight weeks to go and my induction is already scheduled! I'm such a control freak when it comes to these things.
I hope you deliver soon (but only if your husband is here, of course)

PS We SERIOUSLY need to get together soon. I would feel totally lame if you leave the state and I don't ever see you!

Hang in there. The last past is the toughest. If you get together with Sarah let me know. It might be good to do it before you have your babies. Give me a call.

After reading your comment on my blog, I just had to comment back...I remember being pregnant with Weston and reading other people's blogs about all the fun stuff they were doing with their kids. I remember thinking I would never be that way again because I was always SO exhausted. I'm sure that is how you are feeling right now...especially because you are doing so much by yourself. I think you're amazing. I can't wait for your baby's arrival, and I'm excited that you may only have 3 weeks left!!

Of course I'm behind on my blog reading (not to mention posting) and I didn't know you were even pregnant! 1st- congrats, 2nd- I'll be better at reading now! 3rd- I'm still mad that Owen will be done before Scott is! Well, you rock as always. Hang in there. I can't wait to see the baby.
p.s. if we ever have a 5th (momentary freak out form just typing that) I'm not finding out the gender either. Way to go.

Ya...didn't really like the word "thick" for some reason...

Hey, send your kids down this way and have a day. You can sew away or take a nap--just enjoy some silence before you have a screaming spider monkey to take care of 24/7!

Oh, and I really want the instructions on how to do that blog list thing--I have tried and tried and can't figure it out! I know, slow group...

We induced campbell 3 weeks early. (1 week because Ian came early, 1 week because Jon was due in Philly for finals and 1 wk because my FAB doc was going to be on vaca.) It was bliss!! He was still and ounce and inch bigger than Ian. Love that chunky monkey ... aka "baby phat" LOL

I'll call you later ... Jon reminded me in the wee hours of the night last night that I still havn't called you back. I'm a loser ... I know. ha..ha..

Best to all, talk soon!

If you are already 50% effaced and dialated to a 2 than I bet you might go on your own a week early. That's all great unless Owen can't be there. I hope everything works out for the best!

That is very exciting! So close! I can't wait to hear the news. I have thought about doing a blog roll but the idea of retyping addresses sounds hard - lazy! I may do it now that I have your approval! :)
