Blog schmog

It's been a rough year in the blogging world. It seems like everyone who used to blog now prefers facebook. I find myself slowly falling into the trap. I have blogged a whoppin 5 times this year. I realize it's only March, but in 2008, I blogged 93 times!!!! For obvious reasons--I have a 9 month old, a third grader who has a MAJOR project everytime I turn around, a very busy husband, a bigger house than I've ever had thus leading to more cleaning, a 4 year old who wants me to play Super Mario Brothers with him all the time. (i don't mind, I actually love the game + he thinks I'm the coolest because I can clear all the boards.), Living in Vegas--the weather has been fabulous for months now, 3 ward callings and to top it off, I lost my camera. But...I am going to try and redeem myself--got a new camera yesterday, and will try to post more. But..it will probably only be for myself, as I think noone reads my blog anymore anyways. So...to all my blogging friends out there--could you please get back on the blogging train? I love to snoop in your lives, and plus I need someone to appreciate mine! Ha!

I read your blog, too! I put more of my true life and information on my blog anyway because only the people who are closest to me get access to my blog! I'm going to keep on blogging, Facebook kind of scares me when it comes to too much information. It's too big. I like my little blog where just my trusted friends go. :)

I read your blog! I can't seem to get into facebook and I really enjoy blogging! Can't wait for you to play catch up. We should be in Vegas at the end of May...maybe we can say hi!

Ditto--on everything. I hope you get back to blogging--I'm getting a little bored with the blogs because everyone seems to have stopped...

I still check in on you!

Since I am the only loser not on facebook, blogging is my only distraction. You must blog more. I am sick of coming here and seeing the same post for three weeks. ;)

Not as sick as I am of seeing Maria's Chicken of Depression post, though.

I love your blog...I LOVE your comments on my blog. I totally hear you though - facebook has taken over blogging. I keep blogging because I make it into a book and love the ease of summarizing our year in the book. (I tell myself that it is still worth it despite my low number of comments too!) Facebook will never have the detail and personal touch as blogging. I am not private anymore (for now) so if you put me on as www.Coombs6.blogspot.com I can be on your roll!! ...(for now!) It's true, I have to ask...I don't get your comment under our snow in front of the house with upset kids picture!...

I'm still dedicated to blogger. I have a facebook account, but I don't even use it enough to upload a picture of myself. I just like being able to accept friend requests. And yes, you've got to post more, because I'm checking...! :)

You're so right, Holly. FB has taken over... because it's easy... and now we have more stuff to keep us distracted from actually sitting down to details everything. I thought my blog had suffered because our laptop crashed and I couldn't find time to sit in the den on the desktop. I had such big intentions when we finally replaced the laptop, starting to go through the photos we'd collected and sort out the exciting details of the previous 6 months. I got a few things updated, and then got behind again. LOL Still nothing of Christmas, Valentines, St patricks, Birthday, Easter or any of the fun side trips in between. I finally just got something up about the baby ... with dreams of getting back on track. Remember the days when we were so "on track" we had to create events so there was something to add?? Someday, I'll get back to being the blogger I know I can be. Let's just hope the kids are still living at home by the time that happens.

Time to catch up - when are you guys heading the AZ?? ;)
