Yes, we actually got snow last week, and it was the kind of snow you could actually pack and play in. Schools were cancelled, and Owen came home early because all of his patients had cancelled. We decided to take the kids sledding for the first time. Why have we never been before? We always thought the kids were too little--and from the video below of Drew, it confirmed that decision. The girls had a blast though!

That looks like fun. I remember Austin being Drew's age and he wanted to go out in the snow so bad and then when he'd get out there he would just cry about being too cold. Not now. Now they will play outside for hours in 20degree weather with no gloves on!
Hope this means your getting used to sledding for your snow days in Colorado... we have lots of them - as well as 69 degrees tomorrow! Your kids are darling.
